WHO IT HELPS

Train a useful work skill.

For data-entry applicants, accounting assistants and office staff who use a physical numeric keypad.

How to practice

Preserve both decimal digits. Focus on final accuracy before pace.

Common mistakes

Watch decimal placement, omitted zeros and digit reversals. Keep Num Lock on. A number-row run and a keypad run are different conditions.

Suggested training time

Start with 5–10 minutes. Take breaks and stop if typing causes discomfort. Accurate input comes before speed.

Common questions

Is this an employer assessment?

No. This is independent practice with synthetic examples. Employers set their own formats, deadlines and scoring.

Do I need to sign in?

Practice, reports and training plans are free without an account. Sign in only to save your history and plan progress.

What if my keyboard has no numeric keypad?

Use Number Typing Practice for the top number row. This page accepts those keys, but a number-row score does not measure physical keypad skill.

How is keypad speed measured?

Submitted characters per second are multiplied by 3,600 to estimate KPH. Correct KPH counts characters remaining after final-value edits; the report shows both.
