WHO IT HELPS

Train a useful work skill.

Checking numeric entry speed? Compare repeated runs with the same mode and duration.

How to practice

Type each number sequence, including its space, then press Enter to submit. The timer starts on the first typed character.

Common mistakes

A short-run hourly rate is an estimate of pace. It is not a prediction of an hour of sustained work.

Suggested training time

Start with 5–10 minutes. Take breaks and stop if typing causes discomfort. Accurate input comes before speed.

Common questions

How is KPH calculated?

Submitted characters divided by elapsed seconds, multiplied by 3,600. Backspace, Tab and Enter are not counted as characters.

Is this equivalent to a 10-key assessment?

No. This numeric-sequence test does not establish which physical keys you use. Choose 10-key practice for the numeric keypad and compare like-for-like tasks.
